I wonder if there's ever been a squirrel that's afraid of heights. There must have been, I guess, since we have chipmunks. So somewhere along the evolutionary process a rodent like critter looked at his friend and said, "dude, let's go up in the trees. That'll be awesome!" and his friend was all like, "nah man, that shit's scary."

We have black squirrels where we live. I have never seen any before I moved here.

My Dad has fox squirrels down his way. They've always been my favorite.
