Much envy at seeing you riding. I really miss riding, not that I was ever very good at it. I had started to get into jumping a bit when I stopped taking lessons due to being too busy at school.
I'm really hoping that Mia keeps up her interest because then I can arrange for lessons for she and I to take together (like my dad and I did together)
I am very happy when I'm in the saddle. But it pointed out just how out of shape and overweight I am. I rode for maybe 30 minutes. Maybe. And I was hot to the point just under getting sick.
If nothing else it has firmed my resolve to get in better shape. One of my rewards for hitting a weight loss goal is to take lessons, so that helps too.
