It's called Pani Puri. The pani is the green spicy water and the puri are the little dough ping pong balls.



There are a ton of recipes online for various things to put inside the puri. They don't look hard to make either, I just need to find a store where I can get fine semolina flour.

If you go to an indian store, you can find the puris ready made... it's pain in the ass to make them and just about everyone I know just buys them for the store.

Even the Pani stuff there are mixes that you can use.

Good to know! Are Indian stores called anything in particular? I don't really know what to look for in the yellow pages.

Ohhhhhh! I've never had that but I saw them on the show Diary of a Foodie not too long ago. They looked DELISH.

If you can find regular semolina flour, just throw it in the food processor to make it finer.
