Books are awesome. My husband put the kibosh on my paper book addiction when we ran out of space for bookcases. Now he doesn't have to know how many are in my TBR pile! Hee hee.
It's a godsend really. I love Calibre. I've been using it since it was in beta. Check out the extensions for it too. If you're a goodreads user, there's one that will sync your shelves on the site. :)
It took me a while to get used to ebooks, but I'm a convert. I still like the feel and smell of paper tomes, but I like the convenience of ebooks. And the ability to read in bed without an external light on.
I hear ya! I'm cleaning my older books to move house and I really wish they were all digital. I can't even read them without sneezing or taking an allergy pill, so what's the point? :(
I have TONS of books in my Calibre library I haven't even touched yet. I've gone back and forth about deleting some of them, I mean if I haven't read it in three years I don't need it right? But no..
