WHAT a day

My internal monologue is filled with phrases from preschool TV.

My washer broke Monday night and the repair guy came to fix it this morning. A new water pump and it's good to go. What happened to the old one? It had a baby sock stuck in it. *headdesk* Time to get a mesh bag for laundering baby socks.

It was my turn to keep Zach this morning and that was fun. My brother's girlfriend gave Jake a big, metal Tonka dump truck and we've been having fun pushing him around in it and dumping him out. I think Jake had more fun pushing Zach around in it and dumping him out.

I'm excited about a new crafty project I'm doing but I can't find my mod podge. Seriously I am so over not being able to find anything in my craft area. I'm going to spend tonight organizing my shit. Every time I go to make something I spend 20 minutes trying to find stuff.

I'm heading to B'ham this weekend to celebrate Mom's and my birthdays. Tonight I'll be tackling the 3 baskets full of laundry that didn't get done so I can pack us tomorrow.

I need to find a vegetable that looks and tastes like a fruit. Jake is a fruit monkey, but I haven't found a veggie that he will consistently eat now. Even sweet potatoes have fallen out of favor.
