House issues

Plumber was really no help. At first he said he'd never seen a system like ours and that the entire thing would need replacing to the tune of $850. Then I got Jason on the phone who said he was looking at the replacement part online for $120. Then the guy said he'd put it in for us for $450. They went back and forth for a bit before he left. I was okay with the guy (found via Kudzu) until he went to leave. He ran out of here like bats from hell were chasing him. Didn't really leave me with a good feeling. So anyway, Jason's ordered the part and will either replace it himself or we'll find someone else to do it.

Not long after, out "gutter man" shows up. We need our gutters cleaned out so I sent him to work. He told us last year he'd be back around when he needed more beer money. LOL He and his partner look like gypsies, but they do a fair job for an incredible price.
