Why is all the really cute fabric in Japan? Even Disney fabric! This is a serious question. I'd like to know why there is such awesome fabric being sold over there that isn't being sold here. Are there that many more home sewers in Japan?
I need to win the lottery so I can buy all the Japanese fabric I want.

Same thing for Disney, and various other cute (but understated, rather than overtly kid-friendly) patterns!
