Photo dump!

Finally downloaded the pictures off my point and shoot. Jake and I went to a nearby farm to pick blueberries this morning. We'll have to go back in about a week when more of them are ripe, but I got a half gallon. Also snagged a half bushel of cucumbers.

Anyway, on to the pictures.


Jake's first professional haircut. He was not amused. LOL He actually did really well for the actual cutting. He sat in my lap, sucked on his lollipop and watched Cars. Once I got up to take a picture it was all over though.

What a cutie he is!

Mia has not gotten any haircuts. She's had her bangs trimmed as they get in her eyes, but otherwise, I am actually hoping to be able to not cut her hair at all until she is old enough to express a desire to cut it. Her hair isn't really tangly, so I can let it grow long.

His was getting out of control in the back. I could trim around the edges, but didn't have the distraction power to actually cut the back, and he was getting nasty snarls in his curls. I'll go as long as I can between cuts though. I don't want to traumatize him too much. ;)
