interesting exercise

In researching time management tips and whatnot I came across a pretty good website about the subject. Their first step is to do a simple exercise. Grab a sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle. On one side, list the 5 most important things to you. On the other, list the 5 things you spend the most time on. Order doesn't matter, just jot them down.
For me, it was an eye opener. I mean, I already knew I was out of balance but wow. Now the challenge will be to get them more in line.

Even if I get plenty of sleep, I'm slow, sluggish, and generally unmotivated for several hours after I wake up. I've tried.and tried, I am just not a morning person!

Date: 2012-02-24 08:18 pm (UTC)I knew I'd have to give up something to get more things done, and I watch too much TV and waste too much time on the computer. So I'm going to have to limit myself on those. Giving up sleep is not an option. LOL

Date: 2012-02-26 02:28 am (UTC)Two weeks ago I cleaned out and reorganized the coat closet and the cleaning/pet/misc closet, and this week I spent time doing a serious cleaning of the wood floors in my house.
I do need to get better about spending less time on screens and more doing the necessary everyday cleaning
