For anyone else wringing hands over getting your pics from LJ Scrapbook, this post details how to use Semagic to get them all in one go. When the popup appears saying you have to login to IE I ignored it and all seems to be fine. I downloaded 467 images in under a minute and all of them appear to be present and accounted for.

Holy wow it worked. I kept getting error messages at first, but I think that's because SeMagic had the wrong password cached (I changed my LJ password after reading more about LJ's lack of HTTPS and getting scared).

I was completely surprised! Especially after seeing comments that said it wouldn't work. Of course, I have no idea how old those comments were. Maybe they updated it when Scrapbook went to its new version? Whatever, I'm just glad it worked!
