I have a craving

They make these things at the Indian buffet restaurant we used to always go to and I really want some. I can't go to the restaurant because it's an hour away and the only time they have the buffet is on Sunday nights and it's already too late. I was thinking I'd make some, but I have no idea what it's called and oddly enough searching for "crunchy Indian balls you fill with chickpeas and green sauce" isn't working. *snort*

So in a long shot I turn to you oh LJ. They are hollow bubbles of crunch, which you poke a hole in. Then you put in chickpeas and spoon some thin green spicy sauce on top of that. Pop them in your mouth and it's love.

Anyone know the name of this dish?

Sounds kind of like falafel to me, but that's not actually Indian.

Right shape, but these are hollow spheres. Like ping pong ball potato chips or something.
