Photo project fail

I spent the last couple of days putting together a DIY lightbox to have better pics of the loveys for Etsy. Turns out I like the pictures my camera takes when I lay them on the carpet near the upstairs window better. :P Course, it has to be sunny out for that to work.
I think it's a combination of issues. I would need to get some posterboard or something to make a seamless backdrop and my crappy little point and shoot doesn't like taking pictures of white things on white things.
Hmmm. I may use the frame of the box to make stands for the lights and just use those on the carpet backdrop when it's not sunny out.
It would work great with smaller objects. And it was less than $20 so I can't complain.
