I have some questions for you.

Say I was going to make a bag like this one:


Dimensions are:
(folded flat): 11" (width) by 14" (height)
(upright): 7" x 4" (bottom) by 11" (height to drawstring - 13.5" to top of ruffle)

I'm getting ready to make a mock up and want to make sure it's useful.

I like the idea of a D-ring... I think I've seen some bags on Etsy where a stitch counter is attached to a D-ring by a loop of ribbon or something.

I think it would be better to have a matching zippered bag for stitch markers and scissors and stuff to prevent unexpected spills or stabbening (I keep mine in the penguin pouch you made me! but a smaller zippered pouch would work well for stitch markers). I voted against a velcro-closure pocket because velcro + knitting = a scary combination.

Oooh, thank you! I didn't even think of the velcro is bad for yarn thing. Good point.

If I did a seperate bag, then it would be similar to the one I made you.
