I have some questions for you.

Say I was going to make a bag like this one:

Dimensions are:
(folded flat): 11" (width) by 14" (height)
(upright): 7" x 4" (bottom) by 11" (height to drawstring - 13.5" to top of ruffle)

[Poll #1485029]

I'm getting ready to make a mock up and want to make sure it's useful.

One thing I find I really like is a stiff bag so it can stand on its own. If the bag collapses on itself, the yarn doesn't flow as nicely. I currently use a felted bag I made and then ziplocs for notions, etc.

The only disadvantage to this is that it doesn't close so I usually keep this bag at home. If I knit at the doctor's office, I usually try to take a bag that closes at the top or just use my backpack or something.

I have a Namaste bag, but I find it too big for most of my projects so it is basically my needle storage bag.

I totally agree with Marz --- stiff is good so it stands on it's own is great. I also agree with the other person above who commented that velcro and yarn projects together are bad juju! I really like the size. For me it would fit a small project, the pattern and my notions. I like the idea of one separate pocket or section for notions/scissors etc. I also like the idea of a whole separate matching notions pouch.

I really like fabrics that are super cute... gnomes, woodland animals, cutesy stuff more than modern type patterns.

What kind of price range are you going to be looking at?

For reference... my knitting project organization consists of little makeup bags for my notions and see-thru ziploc bags for the projects themselves. I tend to keep alot of projects on the go at once and seeing what's in each bag is handy.

I cant wait to see what you do here!

I think that's a fair price!
