Also, I love being a "people against dirty." Today's mail included Method's new laundry detergent. Super concentrated and green are all well and good, but I had a moment of domestic goddess glee when I saw the new bottle. It has a pump. Absolutely brilliant! No more icky measuring caps. Seriously, I was doing laundry today and that nasty cap was the bane of my existence.

Now if they'll just make fabric softener the same way... course, I don't think fabric softener is green. Not even sure it can be made green.

One of my green goals is to have all of my cleaning products be either method or homemade. I know I sound like a commercial but I really do love that stuff.

I use Method's and Seventh Generation's fabric softeners. I'm not sure what makes them greener or worthy of the label, but I trust those brands to be better to the environment than regular brands, and I love the scent of one or both. I've tried, over the years, to buy all green cleaning products; almost all the non-green products in my house were bought by roommates. I've always been kind of a tree-hugger :) so I understand the love for Method.

I didn't realize they had fabric softener! I'm totally getting some today. Plus I emailed them and told them to put it in the new pump bottle. :)

Let us know how you like the new Method detergent! As I said on Twitter, I was really excited about it (and hoping there may be a sample for me at my parents house) and have a $2 off coupon, but a 50 load bottle is $15 on their web store! Haven't had a chance to see how much it is in local stores - hopefully more reasonable.

It's awesome. I love it. If you think about it, that's just .30 a load. Plus, you know you're getting that many loads because the measuring system is no fail. 4 squirts = 1 load. I forget how much I was paying for the Publix detergent, but to me not having to deal with an icky, gunky measuring cup that drips all over my cabinet is SO worth it.

They sent me the fresh air scent and it's lovely. It's being overpowered by my Publix fabric softener, so I'm going to get theirs today.

I want to change to all green products, but everytime I toss something, Steve buys something else to replace it. He acts like I'm weird for using vinegar and water to clean the wood floors and windows
