I have a question specific to the Muslim faith. Do I have any Muslims on my list? My next door neighbor, who was Muslim, passed away very suddenly the day we left on our trip to Houston. So 9 days ago. From what I can find online, it is inappropriate to show sympathy after the 3 day mourning period. It feels very wrong not to do something though. We are friendly with these neighbors and often talk with them. The wife of the deceased is there and her four children (along with their spouses) and mother have rallied around her. I know she's devastated - she told me as we were getting in the car to leave. I want to do something, but of course I don't want to offend them or do anything out of line with their faith. Can I send a card? Take over a casserole?
