I'm ... getting ridiculously excited about having 20 hunter pets (TWENTY!!!) and all the new skins and such they have. I've spent more time on Petopia than I have in the game probably. And there's the problem. I have NO time to play. Even when I want to play I don't. Like last night. I told myself I'd get up after getting Jake to sleep and play. Then I woke up, still in Jake's bed, at midnight when Erik woke up crying. sigh.

I'm having a great time with the Gilneas storyline though. And for shits and giggles I logged on to Tracks. Found myself somewhere I've never been, mounted and falling through space. Went splat. All my gear is red and I'm hearthed to Dalaran, also a place I don't recall ever being. I have a crap ton of gem things in my inventory that are apparently unrelated to any quests I have. LOL At least I still have Herman.

Anyway, I'll have fun playing until my month of paid time runs out. Then maybe it won't be 3 more years before I get to play again because although starting all over is fun, it's also a pain in the neck not to be able to jump on a high level char and explore.

Hooray for Herman!

I find it hard starting new games sometimes because I got so used to having my high level characters bank roll me on EQ2 and WoW. hehehe

If you haven't done WotLK stuff yet, I think those quests were a huge improvement over old content. (much more fun!) The zones are really pretty and I think you can level really fast through them and not even see all of it. And it's only ten levels, so mounted you shouldn't have too much trouble exploring, I don't think.
It's weird for as much time I've spent playing how much the expansions are blurring together... I always enjoyed Nagrand and Sholazar(?) Basin. Getting to the underwater area of Cata (at lvl 78?) would be worth it! Such a neat zone.

hrm. haha, I see the problem now. With all the expansions they really made traveling a pain... To get out of Dalaran, there's a quest you can do from Archmage Celindra that will teleport you down to the ground and lets you teleport to and from that spot from then on. (don't forget to grab the flight path!) Otherwise just jump and spirit rez. Once on the ground, find a road and head either for the far southwestern coast or the far southeastern coast, which is where the two main ships land from the Eastern Kingdoms. West coast is tundra-like and snowy, east coast is mountainy and full of giant Nordic guys.
I think Twix is still only lvl 80 or 81... I heard a little bit about hunter changes they did last round, and I have no idea how to be a hunter nowadays. send pet, shoot arrows, right? :D
